36 people identified and 3 licenses withdrawn

Checks against driving while intoxicated and under the influence of drugs during Saturday evening in Avellino. Specific checks were carried out by the Police Headquarters and the Traffic Police with the help of the provincial health manager of the State Police.

The checks allowed us to identify 36 people and check 28 cars. 5 violations of the highway code are contested with the withdrawal of three licenses.

One person was referred to the judicial authority for driving while intoxicated, another tested positive for cannabis and in a state of psychophysical alteration following a drug test, for which referral we are awaiting second level investigations through a toxicological laboratory, while yet another was administratively sanctioned again for driving while intoxicated but with a blood alcohol level such as not to trigger referral to the judicial authority.
