MODICA (RAGUSA) – The thirty-year-old is on a guarded prognosis in the intensive care unit of the Maggiore hospital in Modica was injured this morning in a head-on collision between two cars which occurred in Modica. The woman underwent emergency surgery and her spleen was removed.
The toll from the accident which occurred at 8 in the morning was three injured. The collision occurred along the highway fast flow Modica-Marina di Modicathe state road 195 “Ragusana”, at the entrance to the first curve.
The reconstruction
A small car Daciaon board which was traveling a fireman who was going to take up service in Syracuse, and one Nissan Qashqaiin which the thirty-year-old and another person were travelling, collided head-on.
The injured were transported at the Maggiore Nino Baglieri hospital in Modica. Traffic, which was closed for a few hours, was restored regularly.
At the accident site
Teams were present at the scene Anas, the police forces and the fire brigade for emergency management and to restore normal traffic in the shortest possible time.
Until regular traffic is restored, traffic from Marina di Modica towards Modica has been directed to the E45 Cas. The traffic coming from Ragusa was diverted onto the local roads of Modica near the Sacro Cuore district. The road reopened around 11am.
