The perfect European steak is still from Rho and once again thanks to Domenico Elicio which won the SCA International Championship of «Perfect Steak».

After the first race held in Meppel in the Netherlands, where the Rhodesian climbed to the top step of the podium twice, the second international race took place on the weekend of Bad Langensalza, Germany. The competition consisted of cooking the best two steaks. Twenty participants from all over Europe: Hungarians, Austrians, Germans, Dutch and Italians. Among these also 3 European champions 2021-22-23.
In Germany I also won the “Overall” award for the best sum of the two placings.”
«It was really nice to see so many familiar faces, but also new ones who participated in the Barbecue Festival perfectly organized by the municipal administration of the German village – says Domenico Elicio – The high quality meat was provided by a local farm» . A competitive race that ultimately gave the citizen of Rhodes numerous satisfactions. «The judges’ evaluations were based on appearance, degree of cooking, tenderness, flavor and overall experience – explains Domenico Elicio – With great surprise I achieved a fourth place in the first steak and a first place in the cooking of the second steak. I also won the first “Overall” prize for the best sum of the two placings.”
The next race is on June 8th in Slovenia
Adding the result obtained in Holland and the one obtained in Germany, Domenico Elicio now finds himself in first place in the European rankings awaiting the next competition which will take place in Slovenia on 8 June.
