Yesterday was a day with many celebrations. There was an immense hug from so many of you, which perhaps we’ll talk about later, there was a nice celebration for Lecce volleyball, back in Serie B, and there was Lecce’s big celebration! I must say that this year too, president Sticchi Damiani’s club has succeeded in the great undertaking with great merit, a lot of sacrifice and passion, of maintaining the top flight!
A historic achievement, yet another, for an A-class city, which remains to play in the top football league!
Our team provided many emotions and was able to get back up in moments of difficulty. Truly a beautiful example for everyone!
I believe, or rather I want, that the stadium, the sports facilities and all the spaces dedicated to young people are the foundations of our next administration. Because sport is the basis of a high quality of life and also a gateway to the future.
And, I tell you as a grandmother, as a mother and as a woman, with one more certainty: we will see a Serie A team, for a city that deserves Serie A!
