In May 4,620 new hires in the province

May, June, July 2024: hot period for hiring. The Romagna Chamber of Commerce releases employment forecasts for the period May-July 2024: companies have planned a total of 39,870 new entries in the provinces of Forlì-Cesena and Rimini. The Romagna Chamber of Commerce disseminates the provincial employment forecasts, developed by Excelsior Informa, created by Unioncamere, the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies and the Italian Chambers of Commerce. In the province of Forlì-Cesena, the expected entries (entries for permanent and fixed-term hiring and for activation of flexible forms of work) for the May-July 2024 quarter are 14,030. For the month of May, the expected income in Forlì-Cesena is 4,620, with a variation of +480 compared to May 2023. The use of fixed-term contracts is still predominant, equal to 79%, +1% compared to April. As regards revenue in the quarter, the 5 main sectors of activity, in absolute terms, are accommodation, catering and tourism services with 1,530 entries expected, trade with 890, services to people with 470, construction with 270 and transport, logistics, warehousing with 230. A share of 32% of the expected hirings will concern young people under 30, 22% of companies plan to hire immigrant staff (+4%).
