The environmental situation in the former Lido Bagni Romagna is increasingly critical, due to the indiscriminate abandonment of waste, which also puts the residents of Sciale delle Rondinelle at risk, bordering that ecological bomb, an area already contaminated with tons of “Ecoballe waste from Campania” .
The head of the Italian Environmental Guards, Alessandro Manzella, immediately after the abandonment of the “Ecoballe” waste, proposed to the authorities to place two New Jersey barriers at the entrance to the former Lido Bagni Romagna, to prevent the intrusion of other vehicles.
Nothing was done and this is the result: the pitches for parking campers, caravans and tents have recently been used illicitly to abandon waste of all kinds. If nothing is done, adds Manzella, the former Bagni Romagna beach will soon be overflowing “not with tourists” but with WASTE.
