We receive and publish a note from Fratelli D’Italia Brindisi regarding a proposal for tourism promotion of the Brindisi area to be submitted to the city council

With an agenda, to be discussed at the next city council on May 14, Fratelli d’Italia proposes the approval of a system for the promotion and marketing of the tourist offer and for the use of the services of the city of Brindisi.
The document, whose first signatory is councilor Mario Borromeo, focuses on the potential of social networks now considered among the best mass communication tools in “circulation”, especially in the tourism sector and capable of optimally marketing the tourist offer of a territory with excellent results and benefits on its attractiveness.

It calls for the city’s entire tourist offer to be brought together in a single institutional channel, providing Brindisi with a cutting-edge tourist portal with an adjoining smartphone app, proceeding with the updating of what is already in place as well as the installation of new tourist signs, aesthetically “recognizable”, equipped with QR code for an easy and quick connection to the institutional portal from any smartphone device.

To complete the proposal there is the use of innovative territorial marketing strategies via social media using professionals in the sector. An ambitious proposal that will certainly have to take into account the difficulties arising from the economic resources available, but the need for a targeted strategy useful for capitalizing as much as possible on the tourism phenomenon that is affecting the city can no longer be postponed.
