The Cathedral of San Severo is the first cardioprotected parish
The Pharmaceutical Scientific Representatives of the Provincial Section of Foggia (AIISF-FEDAIISF) organized a BLSD course with the aim of raising awareness in the community.
“Fights for life” took place in the oratory of the cathedral parish of Santa Maria Assunta di San Severo and was created with the patronage of the Order of Surgeons and Dentists, the Order of Pharmacists, the Red Cross, the ‘ Inner Wheel, of the Lions Club and of the Rotary Club. Some classes of the “Pestalozzi” high school also participated in the course, which was free and open to all.
The defibrillator, donated by the San Severo Rotary Club, will be placed outside the building and delivered on May 25th with a ceremony presided over by Msgr. Giuseppe Mengoli, bishop of San Severo and the parish priest, Don Giuseppe Ciavarella, making the Cathedral a cardioprotected parish, the first in the diocese.
