Four men and a woman, exactly like the Democratic Party. The center-right has made official the candidacies for the presidency of the five Districts: two in FdI’s share, one each for Forza Italia and Lega plus one civic.
At District 1 Maria Cristina Paoli (Fratelli d’Italia), lawyer and president of the Ex Teatro Comunale committee. Also at the Melonian level is Q2 with Simone Sollazzo, former councilor of the neighbourhood. For Gavinana, however, the name is that of Giulio Razzanelli, also an outgoing Forza Italia councilor. In District 4 the choice fell on the Northern League member (candidate for mayor in Scandicci in 2019) Leonardo Batistini. Gualberto Carrara, citizen, driving school instructor, president of the In Pista association (who in a statement announced that he had requested self-suspension from office) is finally the name for Quartiere 5.

From Razzanelli’s commitment to the Gavinana – Galluzzo area to Batistini’s ideas and experience for the Isolotto – Legnaia area. In addition to Carrara’s tenacity and competence in favor of the new airport runway to free the many people who were flown over by planes over their heads”, the three city coordinators, Jacopo Cellai, Barbara Nannucci and Mariagrazia Internò, state in a joint note.
“All together – they add – for Florence in support of Eike Schmidt with the conviction of winning the elections thanks to our ideas and our candidates. All compact for decentralization. The neighborhoods must regain the autonomy that the center-left wanted to take away from them in order to respond to the main needs of their residents”.
