A terrible discovery, a 66-year-old woman found collapsed on the ground unconscious inside her home in Palidoroa hamlet near Fiumicino of Lazio. And she died shortly thereafter in hospital, despite her doctors’ attempts to save her life. A case that triggered investigations by the police, who suspect that there may be more behind the incident than the hypothesis of a simple accident. The military is investigating the incident and in the meantime her daughter has been taken to the barracks for questioning.

It is suspected that it may be homocide regarding the 66 year old woman who resided in Palidoro, near Rome. She was found unconscious in the house and transported at the Aurelia Hospital, where she unfortunately passed away. The discovery was made by a relative who alerted 112 around 12.15pm. Despite resuscitation attempts made by health workers, the woman did not regain consciousness. The authorities have questioned friends and relatives about the situation that occurred on May 9 in the victim’s residence, but at the moment there are no certainties.

The daughter was held in the barracks as it cannot be ruled out that she may have been involved in the crime, suspecting that it may have caused her mother’s loss of consciousness. Her body was transferred to the Verano morgue to await an autopsy, and the woman’s house was seized. The investigations do not exclude any leads, including that of possible voluntary suffocation.
