The new edition of JAZZINSIEME begins on May 23rd, a festival that since 2019 has brought the best of the world jazz scene and beyond to Pordenone, and which this year will be held between May 23rd and June 2nd. 11 days of widespread music festival, now in its 6th edition, which will enliven the historic center of Pordenone with free and paid concerts in Piazzetta Calderari and in the city clubs, DJ sets in exclusive locations, in-depth studies, thematic guided tours and much more other.
Furthermore, the link between the event and the tourism sector is increasingly strengthened: thanks to the collaboration between Jazzinsieme, Promoturismo FVG and Pordenone Turismo, on the occasion of the festival, anyone who stays at least one night in one of the structures affiliated with the consortium will receive the FVG as a gift CARD and will be able to attend concerts for free and discover Friuli Venezia Giulia through exhibitions, activities and sites of interest throughout the region.
The program
We start on Thursday 23 May at the PalaGurmé, where starting from 6.30pm DJ SirTaylor will liven up the aperitif on the terrace which will inaugurate Jazzinsieme 2024. The opportunity to feel like you’re on the rooftop of a New York skyscraper, among cocktails, finger food and refined musical selections . Event organized in collaboration with The Italian Affair. Free admission.
This edition’s solidarity concert will be held on Wednesday 29 May at the CRO in Aviano, with the accordions of the Dissonance Duo who will present a repertoire of soundtracks from cornerstones of the History of Cinema rearranged with taste. The concert, dedicated exclusively to the patients of the facility, aims to highlight the very strong social value of music as a force capable of relieving pain, transporting the listener to distant and wonderful places.

Collateral Events
Saturdays and Sundays from May 25th to June 2nd will therefore have two fixed appointments.
Guided tours of the city with the Jazz Icons formula will be held at 11:00. Accompanied by Enrico Merlin and professional tour guides, tourists will discover new, unknown corners of Pordenone and characters who made the history of 20th century music, this year portrayed in comics thanks to the collaboration with PAFF! International Museum of Comic Art. The routes, organized in collaboration with PromoTurismo, Pordenone Turismo and Rotary Pordenone, will start from the Town Hall loggia.
At 5.00 pm, musical insights will be held at Palazzo Badini in the Oesse Space, entertainment and dissemination events in which Merlin, through anecdotes and stories told with his distinctive captivating and engaging style, will explore the life and characteristics of artists and genres musical. The topics on the program will be Jimi Hendrix, John Coltrane, the founding elements of music and the birth and evolution of rap and hip-hop.
