Outburst on social media by Settimo Nizzi, mayor of Olbia, who reported an episode, filmed by a citizen, in which a person throws bags of rubbish at the edge of a road on the outskirts of the city.
“This video was sent anonymously which shows a person unloading rubbish on the roadside. The video was delivered in its entirety to the police force who will follow up the investigation necessary to identify the person”, he says.
“Abandoning waste in an urban or rural area is a deplorable action, an act that highlights the failure of our society. I invite all people, who, like me, care about the health of our territory, to report it to the authorities or to our offices similar episodes”, concludes Nizzi.
