To the microphones of TuttoJuve.comthe agent of Nicolò Savona great protagonist in the match against Arezzo, Michele Puglisi, owner of the MP Management agency, to talk in depth about his client and more:
Did you have a chance to hear it after the first goal scored among professionals?
“I was present at the match, so we saw each other and he was happier about progressing to the next round than about the goal he scored against Arezzo. Then, clearly, it’s always a pleasure, also because he was the first among the professionals. And he will remember it well, as he was decisive in earning the match against Pescara.”
Beyond the marking, how are you judging his season with Brambilla’s team?
“It’s certainly positive, the team has had some difficulties but it’s normal when we talk about this category. In fact, after a difficult start, the values of the group and the coach have come out, Juve has thus managed to have a season very important. I am very happy with his performances, he managed to add even more experience in a demanding championship and is demonstrating a certain level of growth.”
Last year, perhaps, he still had to wean himself, while today he seems much more mature in the plays and decisions he makes on the pitch.
“I think it’s a physiological issue of very young kids like him, who have to learn certain mechanisms. It’s right that it should be like this.”
He renewed last year until 2026, can you tell us how the negotiation with Juventus took place?
“It was a simple negotiation, because all the parties involved wanted to renew. Savona grew up in this club and feels Juve inside, so it was a very natural thing.”
In fact, apart from the loan to Spal a few years ago, he did the whole process at Juventus.
“The loan was a nice parenthesis and is part of a growth path for these guys. The club’s choice, at that time, was to let them gain further experience in a different context like that of Ferrara. This is a positive message for the younger ones, because Nicolò returned more aware of his qualities and for this reason he was one of the most employed in the Primavera upon his return.”
Returning to the field, what role do you perform best in?
“This is a difficult question to answer, since Nicolò has characteristics that reward him both for being a winger – for the great run – and for playing the arm in the defender position. He has a good structure, he is good at reading the action and defending, the fact that he knows how to do more things, for me, is a great advantage and he is a very reliable player. Time will tell us where he will be incisive, also taking into account his role and his game the coach wants to develop.”
In terms of flexibility, he is very reminiscent of Andrea Cambiaso, can we compare him to him or is there another player who inspires him?
“I wouldn’t make comparisons as it’s not my habit to make them, today I can only say that he is a young and important player. Nicolò has the tools to play a good career and will certainly be able to improve even more than he is already doing today, then when the time comes we will know who he will be more like.”
What is his dream?
“He dreams of playing in the first team, and it’s right that it should be like this for a boy of his age. This year he had the opportunity to breathe the air present in such an environment, given that the Next Gen often interfaced with They need to know, in a very rational way, that you can get to that level through learning from these great champions and working daily, without thinking too much about other things.”
Have you already talked about the future with Juventus?
“We haven’t talked about his future, what we know is that Juve really appreciates him a lot. We will always think of the best for him, so that he can have significant growth. Today, however, is not the time to talk about the market, we just have to think about Pescara and finishing the season well.”
