There Royal Palace of Caserta participates in the tenth edition of the “Kid Pass Days”, a national event taking place on 11 and 12 May 2024, offering a range of engaging experiences for families.

In collaboration with lTerra di Lavoro educational institute of Caserta, the Royal Palace Museum of Caserta organizes for tomorrow, Saturday 11 May, guided tours of the royal apartments for children and families, in order to tell the story of the heritage of the Bourbon royal sites. The boys of the “Terra di Lavoro” Institute of Caserta will personally take care of welcoming the little visitors and they will act as guides in this experience at the Royal Palace of Caserta.

This initiative, managed by the Museum’s Education and Mediation Service, is the result of an educational path which, as part of the Cross-Skills and Orientation Paths (PCTO), promotes knowledge of the prestigious royal Bourbon sites in collaboration with local schools.

The project, which is part of the 2024 training offer of the Royal Palace of Caserta, includes a calendar of ad hoc lessons organized both at the Royal Palace and at the participating schools and the chosen Bourbon sites.

A unique opportunity for young visitors to immerse themselves in history and appreciate the architecture and culture of the royal Bourbon sites, thanks to the precious knowledge of the talented students of the Terra di Lavoro Institute and the educational activities offered by the museum.

On the occasion of this special event, students are invited to offer their welcome to their peers and the little ones at the Royal Palace of Caserta. The aim is to strengthen civic sense, promote shared responsibility in the conservation and enhancement of our rich cultural heritage, as well as transmit valuable skills to those who participate.

The Kid Pass Day at the Royal Palace of Caserta is dedicated to children and young people aged 6 to 15, accompanied by their families. Participation in the “Kid Pass Days” activities is included in the cost of the ticket/subscription to the Museum.
