The Berlusconi local commissioner clarifies once and for all the party’s position towards the current administration
VITERBO – Reorganization of Forza Italia in Viterbo, situation of the city and its municipal administration and European elections. These were the main points discussed yesterday afternoon between supporters and blue militants during the first meeting convened by Fabrizio Purchiaroni as municipal commissioner of Forza Italia in Viterbo.
The meeting was attended by both current Viterbo city councilors belonging to the Forza Italia group and former party administrators. Among them Elpidio Micci, Giulio Marini, Paola Bugiotti, Paolo Muroni, Goffredo Taborri, Antonio Obino, Giovanni Arena, Antonella Bruni, Marco Milioni and Aldo Bellocchio. Also present was the provincial secretary of Forza Italia, Alessandro Romoli.
The main topic of the meeting was the reorganization of the party in Viterbo. “The objective of this group – declared Purchiaroni – is in fact to periodically organize meetings and meetings, extending the invitation to participate to all citizens, to the city’s business class and to the various sectors of civil society. The intent is in fact to create a real meeting point with citizens and to listen to their moods and needs in order to then be able to represent and defend them as best as possible in the city council”.
At yesterday’s meeting it was also reiterated what the opposition position of Forza Italia – Viterbo is towards the current municipal administration led by mayor Chiara Frontini. “Certainly not because of preconceived and ideological positions – specified the commissioner – but because of the non-optimal state in which the city finds itself. Our idea of Viterbo is that of a clean, safe, welcoming, dynamic and green city: all characteristics absent in the Viterbo of the Frontini administration”.
“Finally – concluded Purchiaroni – we also talked about the now imminent European elections which will see us engaged on the front line to help Forza Italia achieve an extraordinary electoral result in Viterbo. FI is the only party in Italy capable of representing the moderate, popular, Catholic, liberal, guaranteeist and pro-European demands: helping it is therefore an act of responsibility towards the citizens who also deserve in Europe a ruling class that is up to the challenges and current complexities”.
