The season at Dalla di Manfredonia ends with “Saga Salsa”.

The theater leaves its traditional walls for the final event of ‘Futura’the theater season promoted by Common Of Manfredoniafrom the Puglia Public Theater and from Workshop of the Apocrypha. On Saturday 11 May at 9pm, the covered terrace of the ‘Antiche Mura’ pizzeria will host “Salsa Saga”dinner/show of the “Company Here and Now”which explores one of the most identifying rituals of South: the preparation of the tomato sauce.

At the heart of this show, three women from different generations – grandmother, mother and daughter – gather around a table to share their life stories. Through the dishes served, the flavors and the emotions, the public is invited to participate in a dinner in which all the senses are involved. Francesca Albanese, Silvia Baldini and Laura Valli will be directed by Aldo Cassano.

In “Saga Salsa”, the public is invited to the family pizzeria, on its last day of opening. The threat of closure looms as the owners of the restaurant must decide whether to continue to keep the tradition of the family restaurant alive or adapt to the proposal to transform the place into a quick stop. The imminent choice becomes the center of a family saga linked to food and the preparation of traditional tomato sauce.

The show is not subject to subscription and the cost of the dinner-show is € 18 euros. Places are limited and tickets can be purchased in advance at the Theater “Lucio Dalla”. For more information, you can contact the numbers 0884.532829 – 335.244843 or write to [email protected].
