The cycle of meetings continues, promoted by the promoting Committee of the newly established GAL Terre di Mare, in order to involve the citizens of Barletta, Bisceglie, Giovinazzo, Margherita di Savoia, Molfetta and Trani in the definition of the Local Development Strategy to be nominated for the Region’s tender Puglia.
The aim is to create financing opportunities suited to the needs of the aforementioned territories by stimulating the population, and in particular operators in the maritime-coastal sector, to express their needs and present useful ideas for the development of the territories concerned.
To this end, in addition to broader public meetings and focus groups with the fishing sector, a series of communication channels and participatory tools capable of encouraging constant interaction with the local community have also been activated.
In these months, therefore, the promoting committee of the GAL Terre di Mare will develop a new Local Development Strategy which will take into account the suggestions received in this listening phase and around which the interventions to be activated in the coastal municipalities involved will be built.
