Luigi Marsilio, father of the president of the Abruzzo region, passed away this morning in his home in Tocco da Casauria. Some time ago, on the occasion of the parent’s birthday, the President wrote thus: “…Your life was for me an example of rectitude, honesty, sense of duty and love for the family. Your every gesture, your word shaped the person I became, and for that I will always be grateful.”

The president of the Abruzzo Regional Council, Lorenzo Sighson its own behalf and representing the entire Council, expresses its condolences for the sudden death, which occurred today, of the father of the President of the Abruzzo Region, Marcus Marsilio. “I join in the pain of President Marsilio and his loved ones and I offer him my deepest condolences, in the certainty that the bond with a parent remains beyond earthly existence”.
“The opposition group of the Abruzzo Regional Council expresses its closeness to the President of the Abruzzo Region Marco Marsilio for the passing of his father. We are close to him in this circumstance of pain and we offer our heartfelt sympathy to the President and the whole family condolences” like this Regional Councilor Luciano D’Amico.
“We are deeply saddened by the passing of the father of the President of the Abruzzo Region, Marco Marsilio. Father and husband deeply attached to his family who he always supported and cared for with dedication, commitment and love. We join in the pain of the President and his family and we extend our deepest condolences to the whole family, on behalf of the regional coordination of Fratelli d’Italia Abruzzo”. This was stated by the Abruzzo parliamentarians of Fratelli d’Italia, Etelwardo Sigismondi, Guido Liris And Guerino Testa.
I would like to express my human closeness to my friend President Marco Marsilio for the loss of his dear father to whom he was deeply attached. I am sure I can interpret the sincere thoughts of condolence also of the 29 candidates of the civic list who supported him in the recent regional elections and of all the members of the secretariat.
