ALESSANDRIA – An “Agreement for the implementation of urban security” has been signed between the Prefecture and the mayors of some municipalities in the province of Alessandria.
As part of the initiatives for the strengthening of crime prevention and repression actions, for the security of the territories of the Province of Alessandria, the Mayors of the Municipalities of Altavilla Monferrato, Camino, Carpeneto, Cassine, Castelspina, Conzano, Dernice, Fabbrica Curone, Frascaro, Gamalero, Isola Sant’Antonio, Masio, Montechiaro d’Acqui, Morsasco, Ottiglio, Paderna, Parodi Ligure, Pasturana, Pomaro Monferrato, Pozzolo Formigaro, San Cristoforo, Sezzadio, Trisobbio, Valmacca, Vignale Monferrato, Villamiroglio and Visone last month they signed an “Pact for the implementation of urban security” with the Prefect.
The administrations have joined a tender, presenting projects to equip their respective territories with video surveillance equipment, essential tools for increasing perceived and real security.
The twenty-seven proposed documents were examined at the Provincial Committee for Public Order and Security, where, in light of the favorable technical evaluations formulated by the local police forces and the telecommunications area of Turin, they were all approved and transmitted to the Ministry of the Interior, accompanied by an explanatory report.
Each project will then be evaluated by a special Commission established at the Department of Public Security of the aforementioned Dicastery, which will, according to the criteria established by law, approve a ranking and consequent disbursement of resources.
