PETACCIATED. Yesterday, Thursday 9 May, at the Petacciato comprehensive school, the students of teacher Gerardo Mautone’s saxophone class were authors of pure emotions, performing songs by various authors (from Disney to Morricone, from Imagine Dragons to Shostakovic, from songs simple to remixed songs).
Numerous people came to listen. Also present was the head teacher Giovanna Lattanzi.
The students who attended were: Alessandro Di Tullio, Martino De Simone, Pierangelo Giuliani, Rosa Maria Del Muto, Paride Pasquarelli, Manuele Casolino, Princess Yunus, Francesco Paolo Lionetti, Ludovica Longo, Gregorio Della Neve, Emma Colecchia, Giovanni Valerio Ciffolillo.
The boys lived every moment intensely, from studying and preparation to the essay itself, demonstrating a great sense of responsibility and strongly believing in themselves and their classmates. There were also numerous friends from the audience who cheered and rejoiced together with the musicians: further proof of the fact that school, like any place of aggregation, can unite and can be positive.
Very strong are the words of the teacher who, at the end of the concert, reminds the children: “Today all your affections are here, physically or heartily. Never forget this moment, because they are there for you and will always be there. Furthermore, the school can often be difficult, but it is in the difficulty that opportunity lies.
