Days of good weather for Turin and its province this weekend, but some precipitation returns from Monday
An area of high pressure will move towards central Europe and our regions today, giving us a weekend of good weather and pleasant, spring-like temperatures. But it will last just until Sunday, then a new unstable phase will open next week.
In Turin we will therefore have this situation: until Sunday 12 May mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies with cumulus clouds over the Alpine mountains in the afternoon, which today and tomorrow could generate local and isolated showers, including thunderstorms, in particular in the Cottian Alps. Possible night showers instead on the northern Alpine mountains. Increasing cloudiness on Sunday, and slightly more widespread showers starting from the afternoon/evening also on the plains, moving from west to east.
Temperatures will gradually increase, with highs that will easily rise from 22/23 °C today to 25/26 °C on Sunday. Minimum temperatures also increasing and between 14 and 16 °C.
Winds generally absent or weak, variable and/or breezy along the Alpine valleys. Strong gusts possible Sunday afternoon/evening in case of thunderstorms.
In the following days, the formation of a low pressure area over Western Europe will first activate westerly and then south-westerly currents, with real perturbed passages starting from Tuesday, and temperatures slightly decreasing again.
