“Pd, how many unfulfilled promises”

Question and answer on the future of the Novellara station area. The candidate of the Novellara Democratica Civica list, Alessando Cagossi, replies to the announcements of councilor Simone Zarantonello, mayoral candidate for the centre-left list, pointing out how “the Novellara of the future passes through the completion of the major infrastructural works, starting from the ring road and the sports halls, which represent the most sensational failures of past Pd administrations”. And he adds: “The redevelopment of the station area announced for the umpteenth time by the Democratic Party candidate is a diversion to mask failures. Novellara lacks the headquarters of the municipal warehouse, of the Civil Protection and of the voluntary associations: all promises that have already been unfulfilled in recent decades and punctually re-proposed. For their construction, Zarantonello proposes to consume more agricultural land with concrete pouring and new buildings, while we focus on the recovery of the existing heritage, given that in Novellara there are many disused, vacant and unused industrial and residential structures that could be acquired and regenerated by the Municipality with considerable savings of money”.
