NOTICE OF CALL FOR THE ONLINE CONSULTATION OF MEMBERS
FOR VOTING FOR THE 5 STAR MOVEMENT PROGRAM
TO THE 2024 EUROPEAN ELECTIONS

The Italia che Conta program is ready. It is the result of participatory work that began over two months ago, which involved thousands of people throughout Italy and beyond.
The first draft was prepared by delegation of the 5 Star Movement to the European Parliamentthe baton was then passed to Thematic committees who, for the matters within their competence, sent further contributions also taking into account the contributions received from the deputies and senators of the 5 Star Movement.
THE Territorial groups were involved, with the support of the regional and provincial coordinators, in a participatory process which saw them make a contribution both on the issues of peace, artificial intelligence and work, agriculture and the environment, and with the formulation of new proposals , including the foreign territorial group which provided many original ideas from a particular point of view. All these contributions have made it possible to considerably enrich the program.
Also the Youth network of the 5 Star Movement was involved in a participatory process on the issues of the environment, work, rights, artificial intelligence and orientation, first collecting contributions from anyone who wanted to provide them, then subject to debate during a large assembly and approved last April 26th in one online consultation of members under 36which you can consult here.
During the writing phase we also spoke with experts, personalities, associations involved in the sector of ethical finance, in the fight against inequalities, in the defense of the environment and in the protection of animal rights and on many other topics.
This entire participatory process was supervised by President Conte, vice president Riccardo Ricciardi, and the coordinators of the Committee for European and International Relations, Laura Ferrara, and the National Projects Committee, Gianluca Perilli.
The proposed program consists of 102 pages and is divided into 139 paragraphs and 17 chapters. The first of these is dedicated to peace, which is the precondition of all other points of the program. Without peace, we will not have a future well being, rights, economic and civil liberties.
Then there is a part dedicated to Treaty reforms for a more democratic and transparent Europe and to the sustainable transition which also involves the mobility and health sectors. There protection of rights of animals is our specific commitment. Let’s say no to austerity in a chapter that explains how the European economy can finally be at the service of its citizens. We want a more inclusive Europe thanks to the proposal of a European Citizenship Income and which is respectful of Italian excellence, including agricultural and fishing sectors.
The program gives ample space to the fight against corruption, mafias, foreign interference, fictitious consultancies, revolving doors and powerful lobbies. In the chapter on migratory flows, we launch the proposal for a New Pact that provides for mandatory relocations. Furthermore, we present our ideas for managing artificial intelligence ethically and in the service of humans and not vice versa. Finally, let’s talk about the territories: 5-star Europe must better valorise local authorities and engage more with young people on education and training issues.

Pursuant to art. 7, letter. And), and the art. 10, letter. to)of the Statute, Members who have been members for less than 6 (six) months, Members in the period of suspension (even on a purely precautionary basis) and Members excluded from the Association, even if with a non-definitive measure, and Supporters cannot vote.
