An earthquake was felt in Valle d’Aosta late today, Thursday 9 May. According to data from the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology it occurred at 11.25pm and its intensity was magnitude 3.4. The epicenter is located just beyond the Swiss border, in the canton of Valais, in the area of the Glétroz glacier, at a depth of 1 km, less than 20 km from the upper Valpelline.
