“The dissemination campaign of the Municipal Emergency Plan of the Municipality of Messina starts tomorrow, Friday 10 May”. This is what the mayor communicates Federico Basilein agreement with the Civil Protection councilor Massimiliano Minutoli. The launch of the information campaign of the municipal civil protection plan, recently approved by the municipal council, will see engineer Antonio Rizzo involved in the civil protection territorial planning activities with the support of municipal experts respectively; geologist Sebastiano Monaco for soil defense; and assessment of the risks associated with atmospheric phenomena, the meteorologist Daniele Ingemi, and the involvement of the six city Municipalities.
The program includes the holding of territorial assemblies and moments of discussion with the Associations and Parishes present in the urban area. The information activity of the city Emergency Plan also includes a calendar of meetings with the city’s schools, already involved through the training and information programs as part of the “I don’t take risks” campaign of the National Civil Protection Department.
The inaugural event tomorrow, Friday 10th, is set for 6pm, at the Parish of S. Maria Assunta in Faro Superiore, governed by Father Orazio Anastasi. “The community is invited to participate in this important training activity as it represents a valid help for the self-protection regime, also provided for by the Civil Protection Code introduced by Law n°1/2018”, recommends councilor Minutoli.
