NOTICE FOR CULTURE: THE COUNCIL APPROVES THE LIST OF ASSOCIATIONS
The Council meeting this morning at Palazzo del Popolo took note of the investigation relating to the expressions of interest received by the Municipality for cultural activities for the year 2024.
As specified in the notice, the eligible activities had to fall within one of the following areas: dance, festivals and exhibitions, cinema, conferences, exhibitions.
The executive noted that by the deadline set by the notice, 36 cultural proposals had been received, then evaluated by a special commission, which proposed the admission of 34 operators to the contribution, 4 for dance, 22 for festivals and reviews, 1 for cinema, 4 for conferences, 3 for exhibitions:

The announcement, we read in the document approved by the executive, had the aim of “stimulating and qualifying the offer of events in order to prepare the annual calendar of artistic and cultural events present in the city; consolidate the perception of the city as a whole as an attractor of an increasingly vast, heterogeneous and socially composite public; multiply the added value that cultural activities will bring, in terms of usability of the entire city territory, of media visibility of the city, of cultural enrichment through the offer of a planned and varied calendar of proposals, of economic benefits for the operators located in the city and the harmonious development of tourism”.
The projects received had to be evaluated considering in particular the importance of the project; the involvement of the territory; communication and promotion; the co-financing of the activity; the authority and resonance of the initiative (for historicized events); originality, innovativeness, multidisciplinarity (for new proposals).
The financial resources, currently being defined, will be equal to 250 thousand euros, distributed with maximum amounts of contribution payable for each individual project differentiated according to the sectors: for dance 10 thousand euros (total endowment of 35 thousand); for festivals and exhibitions 15 thousand euros (total budget 100 thousand); for cinema 12 thousand (total budget 40 thousand); for conferences 10 thousand (total budget 50 thousand); for exhibitions 5 thousand (total budget 25 thousand).
The definition of the contributions, based on the ranking of the associations, will be carried out by the Culture and Tourism Service with subsequent acts.
