(ANSA) – LECCE, 09 MAY – The preparation of coach Gotti’s Lecce continued in the afternoon on the turf of Via del Mare, in view of the home championship match on Monday evening against Udinese. The offensive winger Sansone, who was already in the pits in yesterday’s second half, did not take part in the session due to a muscle problem: his presence against the Friulians remains in doubt. The alarm has been lifted, however, for full-back Gendrey, who is regularly in the group today after the stoppage in yesterday’s second half; the absence of the striker Piccoli is certain, as he was stopped for a shift by the sports judge. The afternoon training session, which took place with open doors, saw the presence of a large group of fans (also a representation of ultras), who showed their support for the team on several occasions, with applause, smoke bombs and stadium chants.
