Post offices have reopened to the public Borgo San Siro, Cigognola and Borgoratto Mormorolo after the works related to the Polis project.

In fact, the renovation and modernization works aimed at accommodating all the main services of the Public Administration have been completed in the offices thanks to the project “Polis – House of Digital Services”, the initiative created by Poste Italiane to promote economic, social and territorial cohesion in the 7 thousand municipalities with less than 15 thousand inhabitants, contributing to their relaunch.

Among the interventions carried out were the renewal of the flooring and lighting systems, painting work, new furnishings and new ergonomic workstations. In addition to postal, financial, insurance and energy services, INPS services are also available at post offices (the pension slip, the single certification and the “OBIS M” form which summarizes the information data relating to the pension allowance).

Post offices are available to citizens with the usual opening hours: Borgo San Siro Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.20am to 1.45pm, Cigognola Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.20am to 1.45pm Borgoratto Mormorolo Tuesday and Thursday from 8.20am to 1.45pm and Saturday from 8.20am to 12.45pm

Poste Italiane confirms, once again, not only its mission at the service of the country system but also the value of capillarity, a fundamental element of its doing business, in clear contrast with the progressive abandonment of the territories.

After authorization from the European Commission at the end of October 2022, renovation works began in 300 Post Offices throughout Italy and by the end of 2026 there will be a total of 7,000 new Polis offices.
