Apulian women continue to suffer wage discrimination, difficulty in accessing leadership positions and a strong concentration in precarious and underpaid work sectors. Added to this is the drama of violence against women, which in Puglia has reached alarming levels. To face these challenges and build a more equal future for Apulian women, the debate meeting “Women’s Europe – The Right to Choose” is therefore organised. An opportunity to delve deeper into the causes of gender inequality in Puglia, share experiences and good practices and identify concrete solutions for positive change.
