Alessandria, 9 May 2024 – The usual appointment with the Interregional Conference for the Local Police organized by the Maggioli Group returns on Friday 10 May at the Alessandria Congress Centre.

The event, now in its 6th edition, presents itself as an opportunity for discussion and updating that brings together local police operators and professionals from different areas, providing not only an opportunity to consolidate and expand skills in the regulatory and operational field , but also openness for discussions on different territorial needs. To enrich the event, the large exhibition on new technologies and tools developed for the Local Police.

The interventions will address various issues of interest to the Local Police; from the topic of prevention to crimes linked to the recent “Roccella” laws – the fight against gender and domestic violence – and “Caivano”, which concerns juvenile crime, up to the processing and methods of conservation of personal data, with a specific focus on most recurring errors.

The Conference represents a virtuous example of sharing best practices thanks to the concreteness of the topics covered which are of far-reaching operational interest for the Municipal Police and other law enforcement agencies. A further confirmation of the Maggioli Group’s commitment to providing concrete support to security operators active throughout the national territory.

The training day was opened by an introduction by Alberto Bassani, Commander of the Local Police Force of Alessandria. This will be followed by institutional greetings from Giorgio Abonante, Mayor of Alessandria; Sergio Molino, Police Commissioner of Alessandria; Alessandra Vinciguerra, Prefect of Alessandria. Moderated by Alberto Pizzocaro, Commander of the Local Police Force of Venaria Reale. Speakers: Giovan Battista Greco, Former PS Director; Fiorella Passerini, Deputy Municipal Police Commander of Rovereto and Valli del Leno; Massimo Ancillotti, former commander of the local police force in Rome, author of publications on the subject.

The Conference adds to the rich calendar of events dedicated to the Local Police promoted by the Maggioli Group as an integral part of the annual national event “Local Police and Urban Security Days” – which will take place in Riccione (RN) from 19 to 21 September 2024 – aimed at Local Administrations and law enforcement agencies. This event aims to create a tangible opportunity for discussion on topics of educational interest and on specific issues of the various municipalities.
