05/09/2024 – In the setting of the Pesaro municipal council room, three classes of secondary primary schools gave life to a morning dedicated to constructive information.
This event is part of the National Construction Information Day (GNIC), an initiative promoted by the Mezzopieno association, aimed at promoting information that inspires positivity and constructiveness.
The day began with a creative workshop focused on the theme “The book of your life”, during which students were invited to reflect on the title they would give to their life, to design the cover of their imaginary book, and to identify the aspects more important than their existence.
In the second part of the morning, the students tried their hand at producing the “good news news”. This particular format, created by Mezzopieno, aims to develop a more positive perception of reality in young people through the practice of constructive journalism. During the workshop, the children explored basic journalism techniques and applied this knowledge to creating a news program focused exclusively on positive news.
The result was a good news broadcast, which gave students the opportunity to express an alternative and optimistic narrative of events, countering the tendency of traditional media to focus on negative news. The news video, available on YouTube, represents a testimony to the work done and the students’ commitment to promoting kinder and more trusting communication.
