Preparations are underway. Tomorrow, Friday 10 May, many will leave Aosta for Vicenza, for the annual meeting.
The Aosta Group will be present with about fifty people who have found accommodation in Marostica, but other buses will leave from the upper and lower valley, as well as numerous campers and cars.
Expected more than a thousand Aosta Valley people to parade behind the new banner dedicated to Ettore Ramires. A debut in the national rallies also for the symbol of the Valle d’Aosta section, escorted by the President Carlo Bionaz and carried by the Alpine soldier and biathlete Didier Bionaz. Many mayors have already given their support. Present was the Honorable Franco Manes, in the dual role of parliamentarian and group leader of Doues. The Aosta Valley representative will begin to march towards 11am on Sunday 12 May. After the section sign there will be the Banner and immediately after the Board of Directors with the new vicar Bruno Pallua and the new vice president Gabriele Vaudan.
The Fanfare conducted by Giancarlo Telloli will mark the pace along the approximately three kilometers of the route. As always there will be some banners commemorating the Cervino Battalion, the fallen in all the wars, the godmothers.
“The Aosta Group – recalls the Aosta Group Leader Carlo Gobbo – will parade as always holding that banner which recites a now well-known and long-awaited Motto: Ch’a cousta l’on ch’a cousta viva l’Aousta. “To remember an Alpine soldier who died a few days ago, Gino Porliodan Alpine soldier will parade carrying his hat on a cushion.”
