L’AQUILA – “The resolution of the problem of the motorway junction called “Tagliacozzo” which currently provides only one entrance and only one unidirectional exit from Rome and towards Rome is the subject of a resolution of mine aimed at establishing a discussion table with the involvement of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Autostrada dei Parchi spa, the local authorities involved in order to coordinate the actions to be implemented and evaluate the possibility of resuming the existing project and establishing its feasibility”. This is what Carla Mannetti, regional councilor of the Abruzzo League, communicates.
“The well-known issue of the one-way toll booth which precludes exit and entry to those coming from the Abruzzo provinces of L’Aquila, Teramo, Chieti and Pescara – continues Mannetti – was recently brought to my attention by the Pietrasecca pro loco which rightly calls for the problem to be addressed; the opening of the toll booth in the opposite direction would meet the demands of an area of the internal areas rich in natural and artistic beauty and from a transport perspective it would improve the connections of the area with L’Aquila, as the regional capital and capital of culture 2026, Teramo, Chieti, and Pescara”.
“I have always paid attention to the problems of connections connected to internal areas – concludes Mannetti – because they are of great importance for the growth of the territory and for combating depopulation”.
