At the 2024 Venice International Boat Show, which will be held from 29 May to 2 June, the appointment with the “Venice for the Sea” Awardpromoted by Assonautics of Venice And Chamber of Commerce Venice and Rovigo. The prestigious award is open to applications from Italian and foreign personalities who have distinguished themselves for their commitment to the defence, protection and valorisation of the sea and maritime culture. The sectors in which it is possible to participate range from research and development of innovative technologies for the protection of the seas, to the promotion of sustainable fishing and farming activities, through volunteering and professions dedicated to assistance at sea, up to the diffusion of culture of the sea and water sports.
