foreigners arriving from outside the province

WATCH THE VIDEO SERVICE. Maybe a settling of accounts. Perhaps an insult was the cause of the furious brawl that occurred yesterday afternoon near the Galvani park in Pordenone.

According to an initial reconstruction by the state police, around fifteen foreigners faced each other, mainly Pakistani asylum seekers.

Some images immortalized by the camera of a car, which was passing on Via Dante, clarify the details. We see a young foreigner running from Viale Martelli, crossing the street, towards Galvani Park. Behind him there are other foreigners fighting and there is also some throwing of objects.

They beat themselves up, even using umbrellas and sticks. They would almost all be foreigners arriving from outside the province, especially from the Udine and Treviso areas.

However, when the police cars arrived, most of them had already disappeared. There were no injuries, as initially feared.

The officers tried to stop one of the protagonists of the brawl but he managed to run away.

The police, also with the images from the video surveillance system, are trying to identify the people involved in the altercation and any responsibilities.
