Giorgia Munari it will be the new one vice-president of Confindustria Varese.
It was designated in this new role of representing the local industrial system by the vote of the General Council of the employers’ association, called to identify the replacement for Barbara Cimminoin the meantime designated to the position of National Vice President of Confindustria with responsibility for exports and attracting investments.
Born in 1985, Giorgia Munari is Marketing Director and member of the Strategic Planning Committee of La Termoplastic FBM Srl, a company from Arsago Seprio active in the molding of thermosets, handles and pan handles. Year to date he is also President of the Confindustria Varese business services company: Services Confindustria Varese Srl. From 2019 to 2022 he droveas President, the Young Entrepreneurs Group of the Varese industrialists.
His official election will take place during the General Assembly of Confindustria Varese, scheduled for the morning of Monday 17 June.
«As already happened a year ago for the identification of the team that is supporting me in this continuation of my mandate – comments the president of Confindustria Varese, Roberto Grassi – the designation of Giorgia Munari, which I proposed to the General Council, was inspired by a constant turnover in key roles at the helm of our Association. A method that has always characterized us, accompanied, however, by the equally fundamental attention to preserve continuity of action, especially in an important phase of implementation of historic and fundamental strategic actions, including the creation of Mill and the construction of what we have renamed Varese2050 . A road map of concrete projects for the competitive improvement of our economic and social system, which are characterizing the transformation of our representation action. Giorgia has all the characteristics and qualities to make an important contribution to achieving these ambitious objectives in the coming years.”
Once elected, Giorgia Munari will join the Presidential Council of Confindustria Varese, alongside the President Roberto Grassi and the Vice Presidents Claudia Mona, Eleonora Merlo, Luca Donelli. With them, also the new President of the Young Entrepreneurs Group, Pietro Conti. And the President of the Committee for Small Industry (businesses with fewer than 100 employees) who will be elected on Monday 27 May. The role is currently held by Andrea Bonfanti.
