As we read in the “Giornale di Sicilia”, the president of Mazara, Giovanni Li Causithus commented on the renunciation of the play-off withHarsh:
“There were no conditions considering that after the last championship match several non-EU yellow-blue players left and therefore it was impossible to present a line-up to face the play-off, so we were forced to give up. It is clear that I am very sorry for what happened during the season and, I confess, that being president of Mazara football was the biggest mistake of my life.”
