The State Police of Latina has coordinated a “High Impact” inter-force service for the deterrence and repression of crimes in the capital.
The patrols of the State Police and the Lazio Crime Prevention Department carried out checks in the “Nicolosi” neighborhood and in the bus lines areas, focusing on the most at-risk areas. 147 subjects were identified, of which 15 with criminal records, and 100 vehicles were checked. During the checks, an individual was arrested with a European arrest warrant for crimes related to public order, while the car in which he was traveling was reported for embezzlement. Checks were also carried out on irregular immigration, with 7 foreign citizens found to be regular. This operation, conducted with synergy between the police forces, aims at more targeted control of the territory to combat crimes.
