“I inform you that for health reasons and for having agreed to participate as an expert in the drafting of the new Environmental Code, I have decided, pursuant to art. 11 of the Statute, to suspend myself as President for only 3 months – declares Prof. Vincenzo Pepe – given that the vice presidents Francesco Della Corte and Anna Zollo were not available to act as regents due to work commitments, the national executive recommended my friend Benedetto Miscioscia to me. I thank Benedetto Miscioscia, coordinator of the Puglia Region movement and executive member national for the availability and affection he has always shown us, in these 3 months I will never fail to be present and committed to my delicate activity within the Commission for the drafting of the new environmental code. I am sure that you will never let me lack your support and the passion with which you have always given me sufficient strength to carry forward the ideas of FareAmbiente.”
In this regard, Benedetto Miscioscia says he is honored for the trust placed in him, thanking the executive and in particular President Pepe for the consideration shown, certain that he will be able to carry out the prestigious role he has received in the best possible way, in line with his line of thought that aims to promote the concept of a reasonable, non-ideological environmentalism free from preconceived prejudices, in the name of a constructive and non-defeatist environmentalism.
