The young people who take part in the training project will be accompanied on a growth path that offers useful tools to face everyday life and overcome obstacles.

Legnano. 8 May 2024 – Two athletes with important results behind them not only in their careers but also in the social sphere will talk about their experiences and enrich the training course aimed at the participants of “This is me”:

a life camp lasting one week in which each activity is designed for adolescents (aged between 12 and 20) and to provide them with suitable tools to face the particular phase of growth. Always smiling.

The first athlete who will speak on “This is me” is the professional basketball player Tommaso Marino who has played for a long time in the Italian basketball Serie A and who is currently playing for Legnano.

He is well known for being a commentator on NBA games for Sky Sport and as an influencer on social networks.

«At the life camp, an innovative but very worthy project for young people who are looking for their own path, I will talk about what has been done with the non-profit organization Slams Dunk:

create basketball courts in disadvantaged areas of the planet to grow opportunities for joy everywhere – explains the basketball player -.

I’ll stay with the girls and boys all day. I will play with them and share my experiences as an athlete in the top divisions with the aim of making this day unique and unforgettable.”

The second athlete is Daniele Cassioli, blind since birth.
