Since the early hours of this morning Venice is “armoured” due to the security measures taken for the G7 Summit on Justice, scheduled today and tomorrow in the historic center of the lagoon, at the Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista. Long queues and severe slowdowns formed at the beginning of the Ponte della Libertà, which connects Venice to the mainland, due to police checks on incoming vehicles, which were slowed down and, if necessary, even stopped.
