BRINDISI – A day of meeting to deepen knowledge of the figure of the nurse is scheduled for the morning of Monday 13 May in Brindisi in the conference room of the Port Authority. The event is promoted by the Health Professions operational unit of the ASL Brindisi together with the Opi, the Order of Nursing Professions of the province.
After the institutional greetings from the general director Maurizio De Nuccio, the health director Vincenzo Gigantelli, the administrative director Loredana Carulli, the archbishop of the Brindisi-Ostuni Diocese Monsignor Giovanni Intini and the president of the Opi Brindisi Antonio Scarpa, the interventions moderated by Adelina will follow Usai, manager of the Uosd Health Professions of the ASL Brindisi, and Gabriele Guido, member of the youth Opi.
Two prominent figures in the program: at the beginning there will be a masterly reading on the history and evolution of the nursing profession by Paola Di Giulio, researcher and associate professor of Nursing Sciences at the University of Turin, while Dr. Gianluca Solitro, director of the Nursing Center Polyspecialist 9Care and president of Opi Bergamo, will discuss the nursing experience in the freelance profession.
Protagonists among the speakers are nurses from the Brindisi Local Health Authority who will report their experience in the various areas of activity of the healthcare company. There will also be interventions by students who will talk about the academic paths of the profession.
Over the course of the week, the Opi dealt with various topics concerning the figure of the nurse with information activities spread on social channels, while on 10 May at 11.00 it promoted the celebration of a religious function in the chapel of the Perrino hospital which The strategic management, the ASL staff and the students of the degree courses in the health professions will participate.
