A dive into the present and the past, with a look at the future between anecdotes and memories, will be what the guests will experience at the solidarity aperitif entitled “Beware of those two” which will take place on Monday 20 May from 7.00 pm, at the the exclusive Rinascente Lounge at the U-Power Stadium in Monza.
The event, moderated by the journalist and writer Leo Turrini, will see the presence of the President of the Vero Volley Consortium, Alessandra Marzari, and the CEO of AC Monza, Adriano Galliani, in an evening dedicated to the tales and stories of a life in sport of two of its great protagonists, who will retrace the emotions experienced in all these years at the top of volleyball and football.
From the origins of the Vero Volley Consortium to the recent CEV Champions League Super Finals in Antalya, passing through the last men’s Scudetto Final and the European victories for Marzari, while the CEO of the red and white club will retrace more than forty years of career at tops of Italian and international football and the epic ride from Serie C that brought Monza, for the first time in its more than one hundred year history, to Serie A.
The event will be dedicated to charity and solidarity: the proceeds will be donated to the “Centro Mamma Rita”, the historic and beloved Monza Reception Center for young people with serious socio-family difficulties, which began its activity way back in 1964 . The Center coordinates fifteen communities and has independent apartments, which host family groups, with the support of an active group of educators, auxiliaries and volunteers.
