Penitentiary Police unions in a state of agitation

Terni prison: Penitentiary Police unions proclaim state of agitation against too many attacks

The Penitentiary Police unions proclaim an immediate state of agitation and will implement all forms of protest to ensure their colleagues have the protection they are entitled to.
There are 575 prisoners in the Terni prison.
The promise to reduce the number of inmates has fallen on deaf ears, and in the meantime crowding has increased further: 50 more units in the last 3 months.

Sappe, Sippe Sippe and FNS Cisl denounce an unsustainable situation for the policemen unable to defend themselves, now a war bulletin.
According to the unions, the staff can only hope not to be killed in the silence of the competent institutions.
The latest episodes: a policeman in the emergency room with a broken jaw and 20 days of prognosis after receiving a punch in the face from a medium security inmate.
6 days of prognosis for another policeman again for a punch in the face by a psychiatric prisoner.
And again: attempted suicide by hanging of a prisoner who declared he did not want to remain in Terni prison.
The policemen saved him.
