The AUSER Association, through the territories of the provinces of Fermo and Ascoli Piceno, invite citizens, institutions and all third sector subjects, in particular the world of volunteering, to participate in the meeting HOW WE PERCEIVE CLIMATE CHANGE which will take place on Saturday May 11th at 10 am at the Fishermen’s Club in Via Caduti del Mare n.6 a San Benedetto del Tronto and Sunday 12 May at 10 am at the Sala Imperatori in Porto San Giorgio.
The topic is current and strongly felt by all citizens due to the effects that are already underway and which affect the daily lives of each of us and the life of our entire territory.
Auser, an association aimed at active aging and intergenerational dialogue, asks which generations pay the most for this change and does so by interviewing some experts: they are Dr. Olga Silvestri, Dr. Massimiliano Fazzini, Dr. Ernesto Azzurro and Dr. Sonia Capeci, the latter also in the role of President of the Territorial Auser of the Province of Fermo who will present together with Eng. Franco Laganà, President of the Territorial Auser of the Province of Ascoli Piceno, the scheduled interventions.
The experts will illustrate: International good practices of climate adaptation (O. Silvestri), Description of the climate phenomenon and adaptation measures (M. Fazzini), Geological evolution of the Adriatic Sea (S. Capeci) and Mediterranean Sea and climate impacts (E. Azzurro ).
The initiative aims to promote cooperative and solidarity behaviors between generations and develop collaborations with institutions, third sector entities and local companies to prepare us for the future that awaits us.
The students and teachers of the Hotel Institute of San Benedetto Del Tronto, the Auser Uplea Popular University of Ascoli Piceno, the Auser Pescatori Sanbenedettesi Association, the cultural clubs Auser Ponterotto of San Benedetto del Tronto and Auser Feronia of Porto San Giorgio.
It will be possible to leave ideas for ideas and activities to be carried out in the area to implement climate change in a proactive manner and support the association’s activities.
