The Carabinieri of Cremona arrested a 42-year-old man who must serve two final sentences for false certificates, failure to comply with the authorities’ provisions and illegal opening of places of public entertainment.
42 year old arrested
On the morning of Wednesday 8 May 2024, the Carabinieri of the Cremona station they have arrested, in execution of an order for the execution of a sentence to be served under home detention issued by the Criminal Enforcement Office at the Court of Cremona, a 42 year old man, convicted felon.
The man receiving the measure will have to serve a total sentence of one year and ten months between imprisonment and arrest relating to the sentences that occurred at the Court of Cremona in 2021 and 2022, which have become definitive and now executive, for false certifications to a public official, failure to comply with authority provisions and illegal opening of places of public entertainmentall crimes committed in 2018.
Karaoke and sale of drinks without authorization
In fact, one night in March 2018, a public establishment on the outskirts of Cremona was checked and there was a karaoke activitywith people singing and dancing, but the public place had no authorization for this activityfor the administration of drinks and food and was not suitable for public performancesas it also does not have a fire prevention certificate.
Furthermore, through a SCIA presented for the start of activities in that place, the man had produced a document which reported some false statements. In 2021 and 2022 the sentences were handed down at the Court of Cremona for the various crimes, which became definitive.
Detention order
The Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Cremona has now issued thedetention order for the relevant sentences to be served, arranging detention at the home of residence. For this reason the measure was sent for execution to the Carabinieri of the Cremona station who reached the 42-year-old and subjected him to the measure.
