Savona. Train to Fossano at 8.08 cancelled, but there is no trace of the communication on the Savona station board: controversy on the part of some employees of Trench di Bragno, who at the last moment had to resort to other “ways” to get to work .
According to users who contacted the Ivg.it editorial team, the regional train canceled yesterday is the same one that leaves Fossano at 6.22, arrives in Savona at 7.56 and leaves for Piedmont at 8.08, passing through Ferrania and stopping in Bragno at 8.25. Since it was cancelled, passengers had to take the bus to Acqui Terme which, however, passing through Altare, stopped at San Giuseppe, from which they reached their workplace on foot as there were no buses available at that time.
“It’s not the first time this has happened – explain the passengers – But we ask ourselves: if the train in question doesn’t leave Fossano at 6.22, how is it possible that at the Savona station it isn’t communicated except at the last minute on the loudspeaker ? Is it possible that the workers do not know in an hour and a half that the regional train will not arrive and therefore, consequently, the return journey will not be carried out? We are increasingly saddened by how commuters who use the service are treated.”
From RFI Piemonte they let it be known that in fact, yesterday, that train suffered a breakdown, while, on another occasion, to be precise at the end of March, there was damage to the infrastructure, i.e. to the tracks. Apologizing for the mix-up, the Italian railway network adds that, often, efforts are made to find a remedy until the last minute, which is why users were not notified in good time that the solution had not been found…
