On Saturday 11 May at 6pm, at Villa Amendola, the book, “In the sign of Jonah”, Stones of bread in the time of Covid 19, published by Delta 3, by the author, Mario Baldassare, journalist, poet and writer, will be presented. Through this work, the author recounts a journey, which invites us to reflect on the possibility of having a new opportunity in life, following the path of rebirth.

A story that brings us back to the memory of the prophet Jonah, swallowed for three days and three nights by the whale and then vomited on the beach after an intense prayer addressed to God.

The desire to start again and start again stronger than before, albeit with great difficulty and with bated breath, but with an eye and refuge towards faith to face the many challenges that life offers us.

After the introduction of the artistic director, Annamaria Picillo, and the greetings of Don Gerardo Capaldo, Pax Christi of Avellino, Nunziante De Maio, president of the Press Association of Salerno, delegate of the Italian society for the protection of the cultural heritage of the province of Avellino, the philosopher, Fausto Baldassare, will speak.

Participate with the author, the writer, Domenico Pisano. The journalist and writer, Carmen Abagnale is the narrator. To embellish the evening, the Monaghan Duo, Celtic music, curated by the masters, Verdiana Leone, on the harp and Ivan Barbone, on the violin. Journalist Daniela Apuzza coordinates the event.
