Cavalcata Sarda, traffic conditions in Sassari change for the event

Everything is ready in Sassari for the Sardinian Cavalcade. To allow the event, concerts and the positioning of the market areas to take place, some changes to the road system are planned. During the parade of the Sardinian Cavalcade (presumably from 7am to 2pm on Sunday 12 May) it will not be possible to access and exit the underground car parks of the Garibaldi hemicycle and Piazza Fiume.

From 8am on Saturday 11 May and until midnight on Sunday, transit and stop bans will be in place in piazza d’Armi, via Enrico Costa (from via Mazzini to via G. The same vehicles are allowed to transit and stop in the stretch of Via Asproni and Corso Cossiga closed to traffic; same prohibitions in the side street of via Predda Niedda, in front of the cemetery and in via Madonna della Mercede, which will be reserved for parking tourist buses.
