Excellent results for the ASD New Asti Skating Banca di Asti coached by the FISR Technician Lidia Nargi at the recent FISR Regional Championships which were held in Settime d’Asti at the PalaBoeri. A shower of very valuable medals, with 5 gold and 2 silver, are the spoils collected by the young Asti athletes of New Asti Skating, enriching the prestigious palmares of the historic Sports Society of our city.
In the difficult compulsory discipline which highlights technical preparation and precision in movements, the Asti association has focused, and with great success, on the very young, with a great job carried out by coach Lidia Nargi, who has once again made her experience available and tireless passion at the service of its athletes.
The day began as always with the youngest athletes, with the “Giovanissimi A” category which saw a double from the fantastic little athletes from Asti: gold medal and title of Regional Champion for Annabelle Pavese, followed with the silver medal by Serena Rapetto.
Regional Champion title also for Ersa Lici in the “Giovanissimi B” category at the end of a splendid performance. Another Regional Champion title, this time for men, for Simone Besusso, in the “Regional A Beginners” category.
Fourth was Valeria Rapetto, just a few points away from the podium, in the “Regional Beginners B” category, and silver medal for Erla Gjoni in the “Regional Beginners B” category. Regional Champion title also in the “Rookie B” category for Massimo Palmieri.
Finally, to crown the day of success, Gabriela Melis, the most experienced athlete of the group, received a gold medal with the title of Regional Champion in the “National Division A” category, a result which qualifies the athlete from Asti for the National Championships FISR which will be held in Prato at the end of May.
Very high profile results for the ASD New Asti Skating Banca di Asti, which will continue its competitive season in the month of May and which is preparing for Saturday 15 June the traditional National Grand Gala which will see all its registered athletes and athletes as protagonists at the Pala San Quirico guests at a national level, with the masterly conduction of the Asti artist Chiara Buratti.
ASD New Asti Skating continues its training as always at the gym of the Jona school in Corso Genova, with the usual possibility for everyone to benefit from a completely free trial, and with a variety of courses and proposals, from children to adults.
